Adrian was a successful businessman for many years, owning and managing companies and eventually selling his business interests when he was only fifty. Realising very quickly that retirement wasn’t for him, he became a lecturer and business consultant before training as a clinical hypnotherapist. Since then he has provided hypnotherapy in Southend for a wide range of conditions and is known for his gentle and non-judgemental approach.
He still retains links to the corporate world, advising companies on issues ranging from conflict resolution to communications. This experience has given him the special insights needed to help those suffering from the stress and anxiety often experienced in demanding careers. Adrian has helped many individuals find better ways of dealing with difficult work issues, guiding them towards a more harmonious work/life balance, resulting in increased happiness for themselves and their families. On family issues too, Adrian has developed successful therapies to help parents cope with the difficulties of bringing up children in an increasingly complex and challenging social and educational environment.
Issues involving starting school and the transition between primary and secondary schooling can be particularly fraught for parents within the Southend area. His carefully considered strategies, based on personal experience, are designed not only to relieve anxiety in parents but also help to avoid the all too common transference of anxiety from parents to children.
