What is Hypnotherapy?Hypnotherapy is the only form of therapy that deals with the subconscious mind. The subconscious is the great storehouse of our experiences, instincts, memories and intuition, and is the engine which drives our daily lives. It allows us to carry out our everyday actions without really thinking about them: walking, eating, motoring, speaking etc. It is the sum total of our experiences, and contains all the drivers of our real personality. The conscious mind is our logical, thinking mind, and enables us to make rational decisions based on experience, analysis, judgement and wisdom e.g. which car to buy, which supermarket to shop in, where to invest our money. It is also that part of ourselves which often stops us changing our lives for the better. In hypnotherapy, we can bypass the conscious mind, and talk directly to the subconscious, thereby avoiding the barriers to change erected by our logical self, and appeal to our natural intuitive wisdom. In this way, we can bring about beneficial change. In the hypnotic state, we can gain access to events in our past which, though long forgotten, can still have a negative effect on us. We can re-tune the dials of our subconscious minds to improve the way we deal with our everyday lives – to improve relationships, get rid of fears, change our behaviour. Modern hypnotherapy offers a wide range of safe and tested methods of improving people's lives in so many ways, one or more of which is exactly right for your particular circumstances. Hypnotherapy is effective, pleasant, safe, has no harmful side-effects, and has improved the lives of millions throughout the ages. "Be who you want to be……" Related Links
